Report: Todd Monken expected to join John Harbaugh's Giants staff

The New York Giants will hire John Harbaugh as their next head coach, and part of their agreement includes a budget to build a staff "as he sees fit."

How that all plays out remains to be seen, but one expectation is immediately becoming a reality.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that former Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken, who worked under Harbaugh since 2023, is expected to follow the 63-year-old to East Rutherford.

Monken had 36 years of coaching experience under his belt, cutting his teeth at the college level before dipping his toes in NFL waters. In addition to his time as Ravens offensive coordinator, he has also served as the Jacksonville Jaguars' wide receivers coach (2007-2010), Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator (2016-2018), and Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator (2019).

Between his stints with the Browns and Ravens, Monken served as offensive coordinator and coached quarterbacks at Georgia.
