The Philadelphia 76ers have made another move in free agency. After bringing in Dean Wade on a deal at the outset of the period opening up, the Sixers have decided to bring in a sizeable big man from the defending champs.

The Sixers have reportedly agreed to a 1-year $3.4 million deal with Ariel Hukporti. The 7-footer out of Germany played for the New York Knicks in each of his two seasons in the league and averaged 2.1 points and 2.9 rebounds in 9.1 minutes per game across 79 games in the two years. He averages 8.3 points and 10.6 rebounds per 36 minutes for his career as well.

Hukporti offers up a younger piece for Philadelphia's bench unit. He is athletic, plays with a ton of energy, and offers up a lob threat option for Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, and rookie Labaron Philon Jr. He won't put up big numbers, but he is a solid contributor and fills a role.
