Report: OKC Thunder sign Kansas State's Nate Johnson to Exhibit-10 deal

Even after coming away with a pretty good haul in the 2026 NBA draft, the Oklahoma City Thunder continue to work the phones. They've wasted little time diving right into the undrafted pool. It's a free-for-all as former college players take the first steps in their professional aspirations.

One of the players the Thunder reportedly added is Kansas State's Nate Johnson. He signed an Exhibit-10 deal, per The Oklahoman's Justin Martinez. He had previously worked out for OKC during the predraft process. So it shouldn't be a shocker to see interest there after he didn't see his name called.

Johnson spent four collegiate seasons from 2022-26. The first three years were at Arkansas before transferring to Kansas State. He averaged 12.8 points on 44.7% shooting, 4.9 rebounds and 4.6 assists this past season. He shot 40.8% from 3 on 4.9 attempts. The 22-year-old is a 6-foot-3, 215-pound guard.

The Thunder continue to stack talent onto their Summer League roster. Johnson will get a chance to impress during the multi-week extravaganza in July. If he shows enough promise, OKC could add him to its G League roster and even offer a training camp invite.

Johnson is a 6-3 guard who averaged 12.8 points and 4.9 rebounds as a senior last season on 40.8% shooting from deep. Represented by Edge Sports International.
