Bayern Munich icon Thomas Müller may not have his contract renewed for another season, the Bild paper reported on Friday.
Bild said that Müller has so far not been offered a contract both sides could agree upon, and that a decision on the future of Müller would be reached and announced soon.
"Tendency, no new player contract," Bild titled, adding that Bayern were aiming to keep him at the club in a new capacity.

One key match for the 2014 World Cup winner Müller could be the Champions League final on May 31 in Munich's home stadium. Müller played, and scored, in the 2012 final in the same arena which Bayern lost on penalties against Chelsea.
