I wanted to say that Michael Sams sucks, but some would read that wrong & be offended. Let's just say he's not good enough to play in the NFL.

If they sign Sam, there goes the locker room.

Disagree? Just ask Jeff Fisfer whose team had plenty of injuries during the season that they could have easily re-signed him if his talent and ability levels as well as the locker room impact added up to bringing him back.

Or any of the rest of my he NFL teams could have signed and did not.

As for comparisons with Tebow, how many games or even playoff games did Sam win or help his team to win? None, so he doesn't rate being compared to Tebow under any circumstances.

With Bowles gone and the defense needing some big holes to be corrected, the Cards defense may not be able the to keep the team in games until the offense can generate some points and eat up possession time so the defense does not wear out during the game

Just like Kerry Rhodes was deemed a negative locker room factor despite his outstanding play on the field, bringing in Sam is playing with fire when you don't have to be the lab and labrats for a social experiment when your priority is to win games.

BTW, if the Cards' priority was really to win the Super Bowl, the Cards would never have entrusted their team and winning record to an unproven and unsuccessful QB, especially when other proven and experienced free agent QBs like Rex Grossman were still available when Palmer went down. We also saw the folly of BA's erroneous argument that Lindley's prior knowledge of the offense was a real plus and BA was willing to gamble the entire season on a QB already proven to have badly failed whenever he has played.

I wonder how many people used similar arguments when they were trying to integrate blacks into various leagues. The old "there goes the neighborhood" line.

BTW, Arians said they are not pursuing SAM but if he goes to the vet combine they will check him out.
