Report – Inter Set Sights on Highly-Rated Ligue 1 Wingback
Serie A champions Inter remain in the market for Denzel Dumfries’ long-term heir amid concerns surrounding Anan Khalaili’s arrival. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri have identified Strasbourg starlet Guela Doue as a fallback option.
Despite finding an agreement with Royale Union Saint-Gilloise over Khalaili’s transfer to Giuseppe Meazza, the transfer is at risk of collapsing. The Belgian giants have already sanctioned the 21-year-old’s €25 million sale, yet the player’s physical issues threaten to prevent the deal from crossing the finish line.
Meanwhile, Inter are eager to find a suitable replacement for Dumfries, who has joined Real Madrid. Marco Palestra had long been Beppe Marotta’s ideal candidate, only for the former Atalanta starlet to turn down the Nerazzurri in favor of a big-money move to Chelsea.
With Palestra out of the picture and Khalaili’s arrival now in jeopardy, Inter have reportedly set their sights on Doue.

In addition to Doue, who would be a major upgrade on Luis Henrique, Inter remain interested in Fiorentina stalwart Dodo and Genoa youngster Brooke Norton-Cuffy.
