The Miami Dolphins announced the release of linebacker Bradley Chubb earlier in the offseason, but the move became official on Wednesday, giving him a chance to sign with another team right away.

Not long after the official release, Chubb agreed to a three-year, $43.5 million deal with the Buffalo Bills, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Chubb, 29, entered the league as a first-round pick with the Denver Broncos in 2018 after a college career at NC State. Denver traded him to the Dolphins in 2022. Over the last four years with Miami, he appeared in 49 games (missing all of 2024 with a torn ACL) and recorded 133 tackles, 54 quarterback hits, 22 sacks, nine forced fumbles, three fumbles recovered and two passes defensed.

Miami will now face Chubb twice a year, and Malik Willis will have to make sure to get rid of the ball quickly when going against Buffalo's defense.
