Red Sox sign Adam Lind as first-base depth

As Hanley Ramirez exits the organization, another veteran first baseman is on his way in. The Red Sox have agreed to terms with Adam Lind on a minor league deal. A 12-year big leaguer who spent the first nine seasons of his career with the Blue Jays, Lind hit .303 with a .362 on-base percentage and .513 slugging percentage last season with the Nationals.
