The Oklahoma City Thunder held practice on Monday, Jan. 26. They're hoping to get some reinforcements soon as they've dropped two in a row in their home gym.
The latest one was a heartbreaker. The Thunder dropped a 103-101 loss to the Toronto Raptors. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was limited to 24 points on 8-of-11 shooting. He only had one shot attempt in the fourth quarter.
Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault and Aaron Wiggins talked to the media after practice. Daigneault. Meanwhile, Wiggins put OKC's last couple of games in perspective.
Here's what else happened at OKC's Monday, Jan. 26 practice:
Aaron Wiggins: “One of the things we have to look at as a team is every team is going through a January spell… We get an opportunity to recover, watch film, gather ourselves to get ready for the next game.” pic.twitter.com/ZAJEHONsA1

Aaron Wiggins on dealing with injuries for the first time in his career this season: “It sucks. You want to be healthy as much as you can. This is my first year dealing with it… Our team has a lot of injuries right now. Just trying to stay positive.” pic.twitter.com/AiHa244Ky6

Aaron Wiggins: “There’s 50 games left. The first aspect is realizing you can’t get caught up in the moment or a small sample size of games that might not have gone your way. We’re talking about 2 losses in a row but we’re 37-10… There’s a lot of time we have to get better.” pic.twitter.com/3iRFcpufYv

Mark Daigneault on Jan’s busy schedule: “It’s tough for everybody. Nobody looks at the schedule at the beginning of the year and says, ‘Man, this is a light one. We only have 60 games this year. No back-to-backs.’ Everybody’s schedule is tough… It puts a premium on recovery.” pic.twitter.com/KFlJRruh7Z

Mark Daigneault on the OKC crowds the last 2 games: “I was impressed with the amount of people that came out to the game. Hopefully everybody was safe with driving conditions. We’re always grateful for our fans.” pic.twitter.com/6kdw6eEj96
