The Oklahoma City Thunder held practice on Monday. A week since their last 2026 NBA playoff game, they're about to start their Round 2 series against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday. From there, it'll be an every-other-day occurrence as we enter the meat of the postseason.
Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Cason Wallace talked to the local media after practice. Daigneault provided an injury update on Jalen Williams. It's been nearly two weeks since he sustained a hamstring strain.
Meanwhile, Gilgeous-Alexander and Wallace both talked about facing LeBron James and the Lakers. Even at 41 years old, he led Los Angeles to a Round 1 series win over the Houston Rockets.
