Half of the NFC west made the playoffs - why did they make it?Point is...Last season nobody won the nfc west because they were good.

Played the Cardinals twice, heYOHalf of the NFC west made the playoffs - why did they make it?
Because as a whole the nfc was weak...like three decent teams and then everyone else.Half of the NFC west made the playoffs - why did they make it?
One of those decent teams took down a potential dynasty.Because as a whole the nfc was weak...like three decent teams and then everyone else.
They did...with a stellar defense. One of those decent teams took down a potential dynasty.
Lol.The 2024 NFC West title? Are you serious?
The Eagles dominated on both sides of the ball - it wasn't particularly close. I'm not counting out the Chiefs moving forward, but I'm not on board with this narrative that the entire NFC was garbage. They did...with a stellar defense.
But I wouldn't consider Mahomes and Reid done just yet
Is that how the not-good Rams won a playoff game?Point is...Last season nobody won the nfc west because they were good.
It was the definition of a beatdown…One of those decent teams took down a potential dynasty.
Cmon mulli, no fair answering questions with facts that make the question look ridiculous.Haven’t they won the division and playoff games?
In context, k9 was hyping niners and Rams for winning super bowls.Cmon mulli, no fair answering questions with facts that make the question look ridiculous.
Understood but you literally asked what had those teams won that the Cardinals hadn’t. It was funny because the answer was so obvious. In context, k9 was hyping niners and Rams for winning super bowls.
And in all honesty I would rather have 1 Lombardi over 10 division banners...that's just bling for Mike to hang in the stadium so he feels like a success...
I agree that the Cardinals are being underrated nationally... but as for "obvious east and west coast bias"... two of ESPN's top four, and five of the top ten ranked teams are in the midwest.
So I would say that's absolutely fair and it's the same on both sides. We have very passionate fans here who are 100% way cooler off the board than here. @kerouac9 is one of the nicest dudes I have ever met but here he gets...a little spicy. Hopefully people read this and try to be more considerate in the future.
Also Kyler Murray will overrun any thread he is in. He is the most divisive pro athlete to ever play in the state of Arizona. He's Joe Henry / Voldemort at this point. Say his name and it takes over everything. I even fell into it but I was talking more about the organization 's support for him than the player.
I mean, they were in the Super Bowl two years ago. Kyle Shanahan is 18-16 over the past two seasons. The 2024 49ers were 4th and 8th in offensive and defense yardage, respectively. They were 2-6 in games decided by seven points or less.
It's wild to say that 12-22 Gannon deserves the benefit of the doubt that you won't give to Kyle Shanahan.
Because they have won multiple playoff games in 4 of the 8 seasons since 2017. Shanahan is 70-62 as the HC of the 49ers. They have gone to two Super Bowls. They have earned the benefit of doubt by actually winning and not on hopes and dreams.
The problem is when. Kyler is elite in garbage time and when were up 2 scores but sucks when the pressure is on.
Stafford is nails when it's crunch time.
Wait--so were the 49ers good last year, but lost a lot of talent, or bad last year, and so lost a lot of bad players? Do you think Kyle Shanahan was coaching so poorly that he had a top 10 offense and defense (by yardage), and his coaching was holding the players back from success? What does any of this matter? They were also 6-11 last year and lost a bunch of talent. Shanahan is a very modest 70-62 after 8 seasons of shooting for the stars. He has as many losing seasons as winning ones. Their two best offensive players are 37 or have chronic injury issues. It's not all roses.
Plus, since when was predicting who will be good down to just looking at their recent history and ignoring everything else? Since when did "They were good 2/3 seasons ago" have any relevance in the NFL? The whole point of this is to look at the whole and you completely dismissed the Cards being division challengers while bigging up the Niners.

This is my new favorite poster. Why? I couldn’t tell you. But he is my flavor of the month right now. The board needs more levity.Nothing about what he says is spicy or interesting.
