I mean, he is still a proven run stuffer, something LA lacked badly last season. He will help a lot.

You’re being a full out homer claiming logical reasoning as excuses. History has shown they have the better GM, HC, QB, & overall team. Until we actually show it, there is no ifs, ands, or buts, about who should win the division.
This is where i land. I have to see it first. Every other team in our division has shown it can win.

Seattle has not had a season of under 7 wins since 2009.

LA has had 1 sub 500 season since 2017.

SF has won multiple playoff games 4 times since 2017.

AZ has had 1 season over 500 since 2017 and then got embarrassed in the playoffs.

One of these things is not like the others. (hopefully that changes)

How come for the Cards you "have to see it" but in another thread you're arguing the Niners are going to be better even though they finished below us last year and we beat them twice?

I know you will want to say CMC, Aiyuk and Williams again, but they also lost like 7 other starters and Aiyuk was meh, CMC is always hurt and Williams is 37. You don't have to see it from them though?

I mean, they were in the Super Bowl two years ago. Kyle Shanahan is 18-16 over the past two seasons. The 2024 49ers were 4th and 8th in offensive and defense yardage, respectively. They were 2-6 in games decided by seven points or less.

It's wild to say that 12-22 Gannon deserves the benefit of the doubt that you won't give to Kyle Shanahan.

Because they have won multiple playoff games in 4 of the 8 seasons since 2017. Shanahan is 70-62 as the HC of the 49ers. They have gone to two Super Bowls. They have earned the benefit of doubt by actually winning and not on hopes and dreams.

Also, since CMC went to SF, he has missed 5 more games than Conner over that same span of time. He isn't "always hurt".

You're trying to explain logic to unmitigated fanboys....good luck.

I do think CMC shouldn’t be quite as dependable going into this season seeing as they never got the Achilles injury figured out and that is an injury that can potentially derail careers more than most

That said, they deserve more benefit of doubt than us simply because of their level of success, coaching and front office.

In a league characterized by parity, this is just unfathomably pathetic.

I think....in the long term we are going to see that we are not at a disadvantage in the division when it comes to coaching.
we were a totally mid defense last year...with nobody
Petzing obviously is not the offensive guru that McVay is...but I do think Gannon and Rallis can field a better defense than San Fran and their revolving door at DC....and I believe our defense can be much better than McVay's offense.
Seattle is still an unknown...not even sure who is coaching them honestly. But their draft and FA pickups indicate they want to run a similar system to ours...or that Pete had with the Legion and the ground and pound of Beast Mode.

in short...IMO it has been a talent deficit the past few years and not a coaching deficit.

So you expect to see Gannon in the Super Bowl 2+ times in the next four years? Because that's the coaching gap we currently have.

It's laughable to assert that Gannon and his 12-22 record are on par with McVay and Shanahan.

Let him earn his laurels and rise up to being the third-best coach in the division.

whats laughable is that you would even make a comment when you obviously cannot tell the difference between overwhelming talent and good coaching.
what have the rams won without Aaron Donald and Prime Cooper Kupp?

what have the niners won without the best defensive front 7 in the league??

exactly what we have...jack squat

But Gannon is obviously superior at getting his players to perform better than their talent level.
Thats coaching.

well,...except kyler

im more than hyped for this year - scored new 2020 cardinals draft hat online - got a new cardinals tiedye and a pair of slides - im smoking weed and photoshopping murderous cardinal content - the hannibal cardinal wall paper on my phone disturbs people - but this whole divisional contenders take is funny man - and acting like our rivals (who repeatedly kick our ass) are some type of pretenders... my hypeness still comes with expectations connected to reality - in fact it makes me more hype because it's a steeper hill to climb
