Real Madrid are moving quickly to complete the signing of Yan Diomandé.
According to multiple reports, Los Blancos have already reached an agreement with the player and are now finalizing a deal with RB Leipzig. There is growing optimism that the transfer could be completed in the coming days.
The reports claim Madrid’s opening offer of €90 million plus €10 million in add-ons was rejected, but negotiations remain active and the club is pushing hard to get the deal over the line.
Manchester City and Arsenal are both said to have made approaches for Diomandé over the last 10 days, but the winger has reportedly made it clear that his priority is Real Madrid.
The move aligns with José Mourinho’s desire to add more pace, dynamism and one-on-one ability to his attack, with Diomandé expected to operate primarily from the right wing.
Should the deal be completed, questions will inevitably arise over the futures of Endrick, Franco Mastantuono and Brahim Díaz, all of whom are competing for attacking minutes.
The timing is also notable. Reports earlier today linked Arsenal with a potential move for Vinícius Jr. should contract talks stall. While there is no indication the two situations are directly connected, Diomandé’s arrival would further strengthen Madrid’s attacking depth and could influence how the club plans its long-term frontline.
If completed, the signing would represent another aggressive move in the market—similar to the swift pursuit of Marc Cucurella earlier this summer—as Real Madrid continue to reshape Mourinho’s squad.
