There's only so much Baltimore Ravens content to go around once we hit late June. Mandatory minicamp has come and gone. Training camp is still weeks away. The Ravens won't welcome rookies until July 24, before veterans report four days later. That leaves fans to survive on World Cup action. Workout videos, social media clips, and whatever breadcrumbs players choose to share provide the dessert.
Fortunately, Zay Flowers delivered one of those breadcrumbs.
The Ravens' Pro Bowl wide receiver recently shared a brief clip to his Instagram story showing himself and several workout partners attacking a steep hill during a series of sprint drills. The video lasted only a few seconds, but at this point in the NFL calendar, that's more than enough to grab Baltimore's attention.
Hill sprints have become something of a signature for NFL stars during individual workout sessions. Ravens running back Derrick Henry has made them famous over the years. Every offseason, videos surface of Henry powering his way up impossibly steep inclines, dragging teammates through grueling conditioning sessions that have become almost as legendary as his stiff arms during the regular season.
Flowers is doing a few sprints of his own. No, the Ravens receiver wasn't dragging trucks or performing some superhero-style feat of strength. The clip simply showed him putting in work while attacking a hill with several other athletes.
Sometimes, that's all fans need. Training camp can't arrive soon enough.
These workout videos rarely predict what will happen once the regular season begins. Every player looks explosive in shorts. Every roster is undefeated this time of year.
Still, Flowers' appearance is another reminder that Baltimore's stars are already preparing for what the organization hopes will be a bounce-back campaign under first-year head coach Jesse Minter and offensive coordinator Declan Doyle.
Flowers figures to remain Lamar Jackson's top receiving target after consecutive Pro Bowl seasons, and expectations remain sky-high entering Year 4. A six-second workout clip won't tell anyone how many catches or touchdowns he'll produce this fall. It does, however, provide another reminder that while fans are counting down the days until football returns, the Ravens' best players have already gone back to work.

It's summertime... There's no football until the end of July, so six-second clips like this become much more interesting than they should be!

Zay Flowers appears to be borrowing from Derrick Henry's offseason routine
