The preseason schedule for the Baltimore Ravens just became even more intriguing, as the Minnesota Vikings announced they'll host Baltimore for two joint practice sessions ahead of their preseason matchup in Minneapolis.

The teams are scheduled to practice together on Wednesday, August 19, and Thursday, August 20, before concluding the week with a preseason game on Saturday, August 22, at U.S. Bank Stadium. Kickoff is set for noon CT in what will be the second preseason contest for both franchises.

Minnesota noted that additional details on practice times and ticketing will be announced at a later date, but the sessions should give fans an early look at two playoff contenders preparing for the 2026 season.

One week later, Baltimore will host one practice with the Commanders ahead of their preseason finale.

Joint practices have become one of the NFL’s most valuable evaluation tools during training camp, allowing teams to get competitive reps against unfamiliar schemes and personnel before the regular season's intensity arrives. For Baltimore, the practices will give Lamar Jackson and the Ravens offense an opportunity to test themselves against Brian Flores’ aggressive Vikings defense, while Minnesota's revamped roster gets an early measuring stick against one of the AFC’s perennial contenders.

The preseason matchup will also carry added significance for Vikings fans, as it represents Minnesota’s lone home exhibition game this summer. The Vikings will host nine regular-season home games at U.S. Bank Stadium, making the Ravens matchup the only preseason opportunity for fans to see the team in Minneapolis before Week 1.

With physical practices, competitive one-on-one battles, and two playoff-caliber rosters sharing the field for multiple days, the Ravens and Vikings could deliver one of the most entertaining joint practice weeks of the NFL preseason.
