Ravens Expected to Name Prentice Gill Assistant Wide Receivers Coach
CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz reports the Baltimore Ravens are expected to hire Prentice Gill as their assistant wide receivers coach. Gill interviewed for the team's wide receivers coach opening a few weeks ago, but Baltimore hired Keary Colbert instead.
Gill's return maintains continuity in the wide receivers room, as he has spent the last two seasons on the Ravens' staff working with Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, Tylan Wallace, and Devontez Walker. Flowers has made back-to-back Pro Bowls during Gill's time in Baltimore. Still, the room could look different by the time the 2026 season arrives, with Wallace headed for free agency and Bateman posting cryptic messages on Instagram this offseason. If Baltimore explores a change of scenery for Bateman, it may not be easy to find the right deal after a down 2025 campaign.

Gill's expected return would give the Ravens some much-needed continuity in the wide receivers room, even if changes are coming this offseason. With Colbert now in charge and Gill staying in place, Baltimore will look to keep building around Flowers while continuing to develop the rest of the group heading into 2026.
