Ravens request to interview Bills QBs coach Ronald Curry

The Ravens hired Declan Doyle to be their new offensive coordinator on Friday, and he is already building his new staff.

Bills quarterbacks coach Ronald Curry is among Doyle’s early targets for the same job in Baltimore, which is currently held by Tee Martin.

The #Ravens have submitted a request to interview Ronald Curry for QB coach. Curry has worked under Sean Payton and had a huge hand in the development of #Bills QB Josh Allen in Buffalo. Curry had multiple OC interviews this cycle as well.

Rapoport’s wording is a little misleading. Curry arrived in Buffalo in 2024, at which point Allen was already one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. It is hard to argue that he “had a huge hand” in Allen’s development.

Still, Allen was named MVP in 2024. Though Ravens fans rightly dispute the validity of that award, he did put up some excellent numbers and followed that up with another strong season in 2025.

But it is Curry’s previous work with the Saints that should draw more attention. He started as an offensive assistant and, during Doyle’s four-year stint in New Orleans, was the team’s a wide receivers coach, quarterbacks coach, and passing game coordinator. Interestingly, Doyle technically worked under Curry in his role as an offensive assistant. And both worked under Sean Payton, one of the game’s top offensive minds.
