Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Declan Doyle may have withdrawn his name from one open job, but more teams are interested in his services. On Monday, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reported that the Baltimore Ravens have submitted a request to interview Doyle for their offensive coordinator opening. Last week, Baltimore hired Jesse Minter as their next head coach, and they are looking to fill out his coaching staff. The request comes hours after Doyle withdrew his name from consideration for the Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator position.
Doyle was hired by head coach Ben Johnson away from the Denver Broncos last winter as the youngest offensive coordinator in the NFL at just 28 years old. While Johnson was the primary playcaller, Doyle was instrumental in the Bears' offensive success, installing game plans, scouting future opponents, and working closely with the head coach and offensive staff on strategies.
With Johnson and Doyle, the Bears compiled a regular season record of 11-6 to finish atop the NFC North division and boasted a top-10 offense in the process. Williams became one of the best quarterbacks in the conference in 2025, while the duo of D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai produced a top-five rushing attack.
With the Ravens, Doyle would have the opportunity to call plays for a dynamic offense that features two-time MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson, former All-Pro running back Derrick Henry, and Pro Bowl wide receiver Zay Flowers. We'll see if Doyle winds up leaving the Bears after all or remains on Johnson's staff in 2026.
