The Baltimore Ravens are bringing back quarterback Tyler "Snoop" Huntley, who agreed to a two-year deal worth up to $11 million on Saturday, according to his agent Drew Rosenhaus. Huntley returns to Baltimore to resume his role as Lamar Jackson's trusted backup after several seasons of experience in the Ravens' offense.
Last season, Baltimore initially had Jackson and Cooper Rush on the roster before Huntley returned in a midseason deal. In 2025, Huntley won both of his starts, including a crucial Week 17 game at Lambeau Field, and earned the coaching staff's favor after he replaced Rush against the Rams, going 10-of-15 for 68 yards passing and 23 yards rushing. Overall, Huntley maximized his opportunities and set himself up for a return in 2026 after he went 52 of 67 attempts for 426 yards and two touchdowns across five appearances.
Huntley played a key role in keeping Baltimore's season afloat while Jackson missed multiple games due to various ailments. He was cut by Cleveland in August and joined Baltimore's practice squad. The Ravens signed Cooper Rush as the new backup during the offseason, and when Lamar Jackson went down with a hamstring injury against the Chiefs, Baltimore initially turned to Rush, who finished that game and started against the Texans and the Rams.
