Entering Sunday afternoon, the Raiders had interviewed Klint Kubiak,Kevin Stefanski,Vance Joseph, Davis Webb, and now, Matt Nagy.
The team announced that they had completed an interview with the Chiefs' offensive coordinator on Sunday. A popular candidate in this cycle, Nagy has interviews scheduled with the Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders, Arizona Cardinals, and Ravens.
Nagy started his career in 2008, joining the Philadelphia Eagles as a coaching intern. He spent five years with Andy Reid's Eagles in offensive assistant roles before joining the Chiefs in 2013 as their quarterbacks coach. Nagy was promoted to Kansas City's offense coordinator in 2016 and 2017 before he was hired by the Chicago Bears as their new head coach in 2018.
Nagy worked as the offensive coordinator and in various other positions since 2022, following a four-year stint as the Bears' head coach (34-31 record).
He won two Super Bowls there while serving in several staff positions.
