The NFL Top 100 is returning to X, and the Baltimore Ravens should have several players worth watching as the league's player-voted countdown unfolds through the summer.

The new season of "NFL Top 100," the countdown series produced by NFL Films, premieres Monday, June 22, exclusively on X. The short-form series will reveal the league's top players as voted on by current NFL players, with episodes debuting on X each weekday before later airing on NFL+ and other NFL-owned platforms.

Players ranked No. 100 through No. 11 will be revealed two at a time each weekday, with one episode at 10 a.m. ET and another at 11 a.m. ET through August 21. The top 10 will then be announced over two weeks, with one player revealed each weekday at 10 a.m. ET from August 24 through September 4.

For the Ravens, the countdown will again carry plenty of intrigue. Baltimore had multiple defensive stars on last year's list, with safety Kyle Hamilton landing at No. 51 and linebacker Roquan Smith coming in at No. 40. Trey Hendrickson, who was listed at No. 14 with the Cincinnati Bengals last summer, also gives Baltimore another potential high-profile name to monitor after joining a defense already loaded with star power.

Hamilton's placement reflected his continued rise as one of the NFL's most versatile defensive backs. He can play deep safety, align in the slot, attack the line of scrimmage, blitz, and cover tight ends, giving Baltimore a rare chess piece on the back end. If he builds on his All-Pro profile in JesseMinter's defense, Hamilton should again have a strong chance to appear high on the list.

Smith remains one of the NFL's most respected defensive leaders. He is coming off a season in which he earned his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl nod, finished with 130 tackles, and broke into the Ravens' top six all-time tackles list. His 1,134 career tackles are the most by any player through his first eight NFL seasons since 1987, giving him the type of production and reputation that usually plays well in a player-voted ranking.

The Ravens also have several other candidates who could earn recognition. Lamar Jackson remains one of the league's defining players and should be one of the most closely watched names once the countdown reaches its highest tiers. Derrick Henry, Mark Andrews, Ronnie Stanley, Zay Flowers, Nnamdi Madubuike, and Marlon Humphrey also have the résumé, name recognition, or role to generate consideration if current players continue to view Baltimore as one of the AFC's deepest rosters.

The countdown also arrives at an interesting time for the Ravens' defense. Baltimore finished last season ranked 24th in total defense, allowing 354.5 yards per game, including 30th against the pass at 247.9 yards per game. The unit was stronger against the run, ranking 10th at 106.6 yards per game, and its red zone defense finished sixth in touchdown rate at 50.8%. From Weeks 6-18, the Ravens ranked in the top five in red-zone touchdown rate, rushing yards allowed, scoring defense, and third-down percentage, giving the group momentum entering 2026.

This marks the 16th consecutive year that current NFL players have voted on the Top 100 list. Last year's edition generated more than 440 million impressions and 150 million video views, according to the NFL, and the league is again leaning into a short-form, digital-first format designed around instant reaction and debate.

For Baltimore, the list will be another measure of how the league views a roster built around elite talent on both sides of the ball. Jackson's ranking, Hamilton's rise, Smith's continued respect, and the presence of other Ravens stars will all be worth tracking as the countdown rolls out from June 22 through September 4.
