The Baltimore Ravens, with a new head coach, are allowed to get a head start on their offseason preparations, as the franchise began its voluntary workouts at the facility.
The biggest question was whether two-time MVP Lamar Jackson would be in attendance, since he missed the majority of them last season.
So, we eagerly awaited to see what No. 8 would do with a new regime in charge.
And as it turns out, the best possible thing happened for Ravens fans -- Lamar was there on Day 1.

Lamar attendance big confidence boost
It is a great sign that Lamar was not only in attendance for Day 1 of the offseason program but also actually worked out.
Still without a new contract, there was a thought that Lamar could sit out as he awaits a new deal, but he chose to do the team thing, and this sets a great standard for the rest of the team.
With the Ravens under pressure to deliver in 2026, which is a little tough on first-time head coach Minter, having Lamar there and present on Day 1 speaks volumes about how Jackson is treating this offseason.
Yes, it is a small step, but it's one in the right direction ahead of a pressure-packed 2026 season.
