The Ravens rarely move away from their organizational philosophy, but on Friday night, Baltimore parted ways with two first-round picks to acquire All-Pro pass rusher Maxx Crosby. Fans shouldn't celebrate too fast. In a blockbuster move that'll alter the NFL landscape, the Ravens backed out of a trade for the No. 14 overall pick in April's NFL draft, and a first-round pick in 2027 due to a failed physical by Crosby.

In the 31-year history of the franchise, Baltimore had never parted ways with a first-round pick in order to complete a trade, but after only registering 30 sacks last season and hiring Jesse Minter, the Ravens went all out to land an absolute terror off the edge for opposing quarterbacks. On Wednesday morning, that goal was accomplished, as Baltimore agreed to a four-year, $112 million deal with former Bengals edge rusher Trey Hendrickson.

The Ravens still have their first-round picks and $58 million in salary cap space after restructuring Lamar Jackson's contract.

After pivoting on Crosby, they are still stocked with assets, and we're unveiling an updated seven-round projection for Eric DeCosta using PFF's mock draft simulator.

Round 1 Pick 14: Caleb Downs, DB, Ohio State

Height: 6-0 | Weight: 205

Downs -- the brother of NFL wide receiver Josh Downs and the son of former NFL running back Gary Downs -- is the player Eric DeCosta should trade the house for. Downs is a freak athlete who could be a less athletic version of Kyle Hamilton. Baltimore loves to operate with three safeties and pair downs with Hamilton and Malaki Starks to make things scary in the AFC North.

Round 2 Pick 45: Chris Bell, WR, Louisville

A talented wide receiver, Bell excelled in 2025, earning first-team All-ACC honors with a career-high total of 917 yards on 72 receptions and six touchdowns. He was also named a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award.

Round 3 Pick 80: Sam Hecht, C, Kansas State

A versatile offensive lineman, he was named to the First Team All-Big 12. He appeared in 42 career games and started as the center in each of the last 25 contests. He earned All-Big 12 honors during his final two seasons. In 2025, he started all 12 games at center, receiving First Team All-Big 12 accolades from the league’s coaches, along with votes for the Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year award. He was also recognized as the All-Big 12 Second Team center by the Associated Press. Throughout the season, he was on the field for 759 offensive snaps and did not commit any accepted penalties.

Round 4 Pick 115: Michael Trigg, TE, Baylor

Trigg is a dynamic athlete who can create mismatches in the passing game, replacing Isaiah Likely's versatility. He has very good speed and highlight reel catches.

Round 5 Pick 152: Nadame Tucker, Edge Rusher, Western Michigan

The 6-foot-3, 240-pound edge rusher could be the next defensive standout from the Mid-American Conference. Tucker was tabbed the winner of the 44th Vern Smith Leadership Award as the top player in the MAC as well as the Defensive Player of the Year. In the eight MAC games, Tucker had 12.0 tackles for loss and a MAC-best nine sacks. The New York, N.Y., native also forced two fumbles and helped the Broncos' defense allow just 14.5 points per game.

Round 5 Pick 160: Kaytron Allen, RB, Penn State

The Nittany Lions all-time leading rusher, Allen was a dependable star, logging a program-record 4,180 rushing yards, breaking Evan Royster's mark with a 160-yard performance against Nebraska last November. In a down season for his team, Allen had a career year with 1,303 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns, logging 836 yards on 140 carries in his final six games.

Round 5 Pick 172: Josh Cuevas, TE, Alabama

Cuevas secured the starting position as the No. 1 tight end during his senior year, starting 11 out of 12 games. Unfortunately, he missed the final two regular-season games and the SEC Championship due to injury. Throughout the season, he recorded 37 receptions for 411 yards and four touchdowns. Additionally, he contributed with a seven-yard rush and made one tackle. Cuevas was also selected for the Mackey Award Watch List, which honors the nation's top tight end.

Round 5 Pick 173: Thaddeus Dixon, CB, North Carolina

Dixon has the potential to be a rotational player in the secondary. He started seven games for the Tar Heels in 2025 but missed five games due to injury. Throughout the season, he recorded 19 tackles, including 13 solo stops. Additionally, he made two tackles for loss and achieved six pass breakups.

Round 7 Pick 249: Fa'Alili Fa'Amoe, OL, Wake Forest

Fa'Amoe, a transfer from Washington State, played in 12 games and started 12 for the Demon Deacons. He was one of four linemen to log over 700 snaps for the team, contributing significantly to an offensive line that supported the ACC's sixth-best rushing attack.

Round 7 Pick 252: Luke Altmyer, QB, Illinois

Height: 6-foot-2 | Weight: 205 pounds

After transferring to Illinois from Ole Miss in 2023, Altmyer became the starter in his first year with the program and finished 2025 with 3,007 passing yards and 22 touchdowns to five interceptions. Altmeyer's 8.0% off-target rate was the eighth-lowest in the FBS.
