Cards come in 10 (out of 10)

.....After Deone Bucannon leaves this offseason, the Cardinals won't have a single player left on their roster from the 2013 and 2014

Just for comparison sake against some of the top teams in the NFL:

The Patriots will have no one left on the roster from those two drafts.

The Steelers will have only one player left (Stephon Tuitt).

The Vikings will most likely have 1 player left (Xavier Rhodes).

The Seahawks may have 1 player left (Justin Britt)

The Packers will have 2 players left (David Bakhtiari and Devante Adams)

The Rams will have 1 player left (Aaron Donald)

The Eagles will have 2 players left (Lane Johnson and Zach Ertz)

True but it’s still a terrible job drafting. Also 2016 was worse than both 13’ and 14’. That’s three bombs in four years.

Would you now like to compare the talent levels of those you mentioned against Buc?

Terrible? They got multiple starters out of those two drafts.

Although I agree that 2016 was a disaster of a draft.

What does that have to do with the number of players left on a roster from those two draft classes?
A lot. While teams do shuffle players around, the players you mentioned are dominant at their positions while BASK drafted a safety and made him an undersized LB. In short, those teams actually drafted players worth keeping. The only reason why Buc is still around is because we don't have anyone else for the position.

This discussion is in regards to our current situation. Right now those drafts have zero impact moving forward.
Think about this. We have more players still around from the 2004 draft than the combined drafts from 2007-2013. We have only 1 player left from all of Whiz's drafts. And by far BASK's best draft was 2015.

Those are the top teams in the NFL and they only have 1 maybe 2 players left from those drafts. Some of those guys were drafted very high in the 1st round way before the Cardinals selected (Lane Johnson #4 overall, Aaron Donald #13 overall).

If you look deeper at other teams, some have no players left just like the Patriots or maybe one late rounder at best:

Cleveland Browns - No players left

SF 49ers - No players left

NY Jets - 1 player (Quincy Enunwa)

LA Chargers - 1 player (Keenan Allen)

Buffalo Bills - 1 player (John Miller, who?)

NY Giants - 1 player (Odell Beckham Jr drafted 15 spots ahead of Buc)

NO Saints - 1 player (Terron Armstead)

Denver Broncos - 1 player (Bradley Roby)
...

that's almost half the league I listed all who have very little left if anything at all left from those drafts.

I don't understand the rankings. Is this ... most likely to change coaches or ... if coach is fired the least desirable opening?

Didn't the Rams have like 12 picks in that draft as well?

Yet, almost all those teams are in playoff contention virtually every year.

Then explain someone like Johnathan Cooper, who was drafted #7, was a total bust? And Jimmy Ward is still in SF and is a starter. And if you're trying to defend SK, there's no defending him. When you look at 42 draft picks and see 1 as a top tier player(DJ) and 2 budding players(Baker/Rosen), that's not a good draft record. And I'll now wait for you to change the perimeters of the argument once again.

I'm not trying to defend anyone. The original article made a point that the Cardinals have only 1 player left from those two drafts. All I'm saying is that is the case for most teams. Why point it out for just the Cardinals?
