Likely set to hear his name called early in the 2026 NBA draft, Labaron Philon Jr. was nothing short of a star during his two seasons with the Alabama Crimson Tide.

A former in-state high school prospect, Philon signed with Alabama in May of 2024 as a borderline five-star recruit, and went on to make an immediate impact as a freshman averaging 10.6 points while starting 29-of-37 games.

The Mobile native took an even bigger step forward this past season as well, averaging 22 points, 3.5 rebounds, and five assists per game as a sophomore. Philon also ranked third in the SEC in scoring, and received numerous honors that included First Team All-SEC and All-America.

During those two years, Philon delivered countless memorable moments for Alabama basketball, all while producing some of the greatest individual in-game performances the program has seen in recent memory.

Here are five of Philon's best during his time with the Crimson Tide.

5. vs. South Florida

Philon had multiple big performances prior to the start of conference play this past season, with a 104-93 win over South Florida among the best. In the win, Philon tied a then career-high with 29 points, three rebounds, and seven assists on 10-of-15 (66.7%) shooting from the field, as well as 3-of-5 from three and 6-of-7 at the free throw line.

4. vs. Arkansas

Alabama's 117-115 double overtime home win this past season over Arkansas is likely remembered for the showing of Razorbacks' guard Darius Acuff, but Philon was also just as good. Philon, who also had two rebounds and seven assists, set a career-high with 35 points in the win on 11-of-21 (52.4%) shooting from the field, along with 3-of-8 from three, as well as 10-of-13 at the free throw line.

3. vs. Hofstra - 2026 NCAA Tournament First Round

Philon took his game to another level during this past year's NCAA Tournament, with his first round performance in a 90-70 win over Hofstra only a sign of what was to come for the star guard. Flirting with a triple-double, Philon ended the win with 29 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and three steals on 10-of-18 (55.6%) shooting from the field, as well as 3-of-7 from three and 6-of-7 at the free throw line.

2. at Mississippi State

Alabama won on the road in Starkville this past season, 97-82, and the performance of Philon was a big reason as to why. Also posting four rebounds and three assists, Philon set a then career-high with 32 points on 10-of-14 (71.4%) shooting from the field, while also going 3-of-5 from three-point range, as well as 9-of-10 at the free throw line.

1. vs. Michigan - 2026 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16

An argument could certainly be made that Philon's greatest in-game performance while at Alabama was his last, as the guard went out on a high note during the Crimson Tide's 90-77 loss to Michigan in this past year's Sweet 16. In the loss, Philon tied his career-high with 35 points, while also recording seven rebounds and four assists on 6-of-14 (42.9%) from three, as well as a perfect 9-of-9 at the free throw line.
