WWE currently has the most athletic roster in professional wrestling history. Like in more traditional sports, the caliber of athletes progresses over time. Compare track or swimming times from four decades ago to now—there's a stunning difference.
It's not to take away anything from the performers of the past, but if Oba Femi were dropped in the 1950s against Lou Thesz, the fans would accuse him of witchcraft. Even in this era of monsters, physically, few can compare to 45-year-old Randy Orton, who revealed just how big he actually is.

In the "Behind the Scenes of WrestleMania 41" video WWE uploaded to its YouTube page, there's a clip of Bron Breakker admiring Randy Orton's physique. "I'm just about 280 (pounds)," Orton said. "Monster," Breakker replied.
Even with two decades of experience in the ring and numerous major surgeries, Orton is seemingly aging in reverse. Breakker was able to make an NFL training camp, and Orton visually dwarfs him. "The Viper" is a sneaky 6'5", and combined with all his added muscle, he's one of the most visually intimidating wrestlers in the business.
His stellar look, paired with his undeniable legacy, is why Orton still finds himself in a prominent place on the card. He's about to main-event another PLE with his career rival, John Cena, and has potential feuds with Cody Rhodes and CM Punk ready to go down the pipeline.
Orton looks to have plenty of years at the top left in him, and his current shape will only help propel his longevity.
