Raiders will get some extra training camp work

Like many recent years other other head coaches, the Las Vegas Raiders will kick off the Klint Kubiak era with a joint practice at the Houston Texans in August, according to the Houston Chronicle.

In addition to joint practice with the Panthers on Aug. 26, the #Texans are hosting a joint practice with the Las Vegas Raiders ahead of the preseason game on Aug. 20, per a source. @mike_e_kaye was on the Panthers' joint practice 1st.

It is not known how many days of joint practices there will be. They usually are for one or two days. The Raiders at the Texans in their second preseason game August 2. Thus, Kubiak will spend some time in his first training camp as a head coach at the location of his father, Gary Kubiak’s, first spot as a head coach. Houston is also the hometown of Gary Kubiak.

The Raiders’ other preseason games will be home games against the Arizona Cardinals (Week 1) and San Francisco 49ers (Week 3) at home. The dates for those games have not been announced. It is possible the Raiders will have a joint practice with one of those two teams at their Henderson, Nevada facility.
