The Titans were so bad, it didn't leave much room for the Raiders to put up many terrible performances. But you best believe there were still a few who managed to do it.
The entire offensive line. Most everything that went wrong for the Raiders on offense seemed to have something to do with one or several of them getting brutalized. The first drive saw Glaze and Parham give up a run stuff for a loss. Then once they moved into the red zone, JPJ promptly gave up a run stuff for a loss and Meredith gave up a sack. Thus their promising drive yielded only a field goal.
The second possession was a three-and-out starting with Parham unable to hold his gap for a run stuff and ending with JPJ giving up a QB hit for an incompletion.
The third drive saw JPJ get beat for a big tackle for a loss of five, then Parham not switch up on a stunt leading to a hard sack. They were bailed out by an illegal contact penalty on the Titans, but it didn't last long. Forsythe gave up a sack and then Parham gave up a QB hit for an incompletion on third and long.
Their next possession began in first and goal at the two. But was backed up to the four after Parham got blown up at the point of attack, disrupting the play and causing a pile up two yards behind the line of scrimmage. They were able to throw out of it on the next play for a TD.
Their final possession of the first half was another three-and-out with Glaze getting beat to give up a run stuff for a loss.
They were able to go on their one and only long TD drive of the game to begin the third quarter. But it was touch and go there. Parham got no push at the line on a QB sneak on third and one, forcing them to go for it on fourth and one. Then Meredith gave up a run stuff. And on third and goal from the seven, JPJ gave up a hit on Geno that would have ended the drive there but for a facemask penalty that instead made it first and goal. To their credit, JPJ and Parham opened the hole that allowed Jeanty to get in for the score. Though it's tough to applaud them too much considering both had plays that nearly stalled the drive before that.
The Raiders put on one last scoring drive in the game, but one again it stalled in the red zone. First with Meredith giving up a run stuff and then Forsythe, leading to a chip shot field goal instead.
The Titans' first scoring drive saw Pola-Mao miss a tackle on a 17-yard run, followed immediately by him giving up a 23-yard catch. And it was Pola-Mao who gave up the Titans' only touchdown. Though, it was too late to really matter.
