The Draft got started with a bang. Albeit a bang everyone saw coming. The Raiders made their first pick, selecting Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza. From there, it gets interesting. Who do they take with their remaining nine picks? How much do they move around the draft either by trading up or down? We will track all those developments as they happen.

With the first overall pick in this year's draft, the Raiders got the reigning Heisman Trophy and National Championship winning QB who led his team to an undefeated 16-0 season. He checks all the boxes for not just a top pick, but for a franchise quarterback. Making for the one of the easiest picks in this draft and in Raiders franchise history.

The Cal transfer, had a meteoric rise in his one-year starter at Indiana. He completed 72% of his passes in the Hoosiers' historic run last season, while putting up 3535 yards passing with 41 touchdowns to just six interceptions.
