The Las Vegas Raiders were awful in 2025.

We all know how bad the offense was, but the problems wasn’t all on that side of the ball. The defense had big problems as well.

Yet, it wasn’t all bad on defense. Under former defensive coordinator Patrick Graham, the Raiders were able to get off the field quickly (especially at the start of games) at time last season.

In fact, Las Vegas’ defense was one of the best in the entire NFL in forcing 3 and out rates last season. According to NFL Researcher on X, the Raiders had the third best 3-and-out force rate at 25.8 percent.

Defensive 3 and out rate forced in 2025…

Best
1. Texans – 29.4%
2. Broncos – 27.1%
3. Raiders – 25.8%
4. Rams – 24.9%
4. Browns – 24.7%

Worst
28. Giants – 15.0%
29. Colts – 14.8%
30. Saints – 14.4%
31. Cardinals – 13.9%
32. Ravens – 13.3%
