The Las Vegas Raiders’ had a great start to the 2026 NFL draft when they selected Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 overall pick.
Let’s examine by doing a Raiders’ second and third round mock draft for Friday:
Second round
No. 36, Ohio State defensive tackle Kayden McDonald
The Raiders are in pretty good shape. there are some excellent choices at cornerback, safety and wide receiver available. But McDonald fills a big need and he is a great value. This is a solid choice early in the second round.
Third round
No. 67, Georgia State wide receiver Ted Hurst
This would be a very nice get at No. 67. Hurst is super dynamic. He has great size and he can return the ball as well. The Raiders have been on him during the draft process and would likely be happy to grab him here. He would be a big part of the receiver room for now and the future.
How do you feel about this Friday haul for the Silver and Black?
