EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. − Eagles star cornerback Quinyon Mitchell left the game against the Giants in the second quarter with a hamstring injury.

He is listed as questionable to return.

It's a big loss for the Eagles as Mitchell was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week after his strong game against the Buccaneers on Sept. 28.

Adoree Jackson, the former Giant who had lost his starting job to Kelee Ringo, replaced him in the game.

It comes after star defensive tackle Jalen Carter was ruled out before the game because of a heel injury.

Carter evidently suffered the injury during practice on Oct. 8, a walkthrough. Carter had not been on the injury report before then, and was listed as "limited" for that day.

The Eagles relied on Moro Ojomo and Jordan Davis to pick up the bulk of Carter's snaps.
