SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The NCAA hockey tournament regionals kicked off at the Premier Center Thursday.

Quinnipiac took down Providence 5-2 where former members of the Stampede, Chris Pelosi and Ethan Wyttenbach, scored goals. North Dakota shutout Merrimack 3-0 in the second matchup of the night.

The Fighting Hawks will face the Bobcats on Saturday for a spot in the Frozen Four.
