We keep hearing about the young WR he has taught. Can some one tell me who they are. I don't want to be negative but Fostor, Gilmore, and McAddley have shown me little.

Martay Jenkins was a UDFA cut by the cowboys. Sullivan turned him into a respectable #3 WR for a few years too.

Besides Tony Martin - what has Sully really done besides get first and second round picks to play up to their drafted positions? Martay stunk for the most part, got no sniffs from anyone else and Gilmore is nothing but speed, Foster was cut already and the other guys are marginal players also who haven't made any kind of impact.

Now getting first and second round picks to play up to their draft status is impressive - and Sully does a great job with them, but I think he gets a little too much credit here for being some kind of genius.

All the guys in Detroit, Herman Moore, Crowell, Morton, his most famous one is converted option QB Tony Martin. He compared Gilmore to Martin last year FWIW.

Gilmore to be fair hasn't been totally healthy since the first game, but so far he's not Tony Martin.

That's why I wanted and still want us to try and get a guy in trade like Travis Taylor or David Terrell. I would bet Sully gets more out of either of those kids than the Ravens or Bears are getting. Terrell is a problem child and we may not want to touch that but both of those guys are very talented (especially Terrell) and I bet Sully would get them to play "up to their draft status."

Unless it's Roy Williams I'd be really disappointed if we take a WR in the first 2 rounds this year, I think there are too many on other teams like Terrell and Taylor who may be available.

NO, NO, he does not look healthy at all...he looked more like a ******** kid in gym class having a football thrown at him, on that deep ball to him in the 4th quarter of the Dallas game.:D

sorry, but I am not a big Gilmore fan at all!

Speaking of people Sullivan has coached, what ever happened to Germaine Crowell? I doubt he's healthy but there's another receiver we should bring in if he is healthy. I remember he had surgery on his knee but haven't heard anything since. Just curious.
