Los Angeles Rams standout Puka Nacua might be gearing up to sue his recent accuser. As previously reported by The Blast, Nacua was accused of using antisemitic language and crossing a Los Angeles woman’s personal boundaries in a temporary restraining order request that was filed. A new report states that not only is Nacua denying the allegations, but the BYU alum is also planning to sue the woman for defamation.

According to TMZ, Nacua is considering taking legal action against a California woman who leveled horrifying allegations against him.

In her temporary restraining order filing, the woman claimed Nacua screamed “f-ck all the Jews” during a night out before allegedly biting her so hard that he broke her skin.

Nacua’s lawyer denied the initial allegations, calling her filing nothing more than a shakedown. In a new statement, Nacua’s team maintained its position, saying, “Puka denies these allegations in the strongest possible terms.”

“We will be filing a defamation lawsuit and pursuing all available legal remedies in response to these false and damaging statements,” Nacua’s lawyer, Levi McCathern, added.

The allegations against Nacua couldn’t come at a more unfortunate time, considering the NFL superstar sparked backlash in December 2025 after he was seen mimicking an antisemitic gesture during a livestream with Adin Ross.

“When I appeared the other day on a social media livestream, it was suggested to me to perform a specific movement as part of my next touchdown celebration,” he said in a since-deleted apology. “At the time, I had no idea this act was antisemitic in nature and perpetuated harmful stereotypes against Jewish people,” he added.

“I do not stand for any form of racism, bigotry, or hate of another group of people,” he continued.

Also, during that livestream, Nacua called out the NFL referees, claiming they make certain calls not because they’re right, but because they want to be seen on TV. “You don’t think [an official] is texting his friends in the group chat, like, ‘Yo, you guys just saw me on ‘Sunday Night Football’? That wasn’t [pass interference], but I called it,'” Nacua said.

The league fined him $25,000 for his comments.

McCarthen stated to TMZ, maintaining Nacua’s innocence amid the recent allegations. He also slammed the Los Angeles accuser for allegedly seeking a massive payday, saying, “This is not a legitimate legal claim; it is blackmail.”

“The timing of the claimant’s recent legal action — nearly three months after the alleged incident and just says after JSN’s record-breaking contract as a wide receiver — further underscores the complete lack of credibility behind these accusations,” McCarthen added.

McCarthen didn’t stop there, though. He actually echoed those sentiments in a statement to USA Today, in which he said the case against Nacua “is not sexual in nature” and it doesn’t “involve any allegation of domestic violence.”

Cam Skattebo Under Fire For Dismissing CTE In A New Interview

Nacua isn’t the only NFL player making headlines for the wrong reasons, according to The Blast.

New York Giants player Cam Skattebo recently issued an apology after appearing to dismiss the seriousness of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) during a podcast interview.

In the clip, Skattebo called the condition, which is caused by repeated head injuries, “an excuse” before shifting his focus to those with asthma, calling their condition “fake.”

“I sincerely apologize to anyone that was offended by my remarks, and I assure you that I’ll be more mindful and respectful going forward,” he wrote online. “Much love!!!”

Another report from The Blast details the recent legal woes of Atlanta Falcons player James Pearce Jr., stemming from his alleged disorderly behavior in Miami, Florida.

Authorities revealed that Pearce Jr. allegedly rammed his vehicle into his ex-girlfriend, Rickea Jackson‘s, car while on the highway.

After some time, Jackson arrived at a nearby police station, where Pearce Jr. was arrested and taken into custody.

In court documents, Jackson got extremely candid about Pearce Jr.’s alleged “obsessive, insecure, violent, and aggressive behavior,” adding that their latest encounter occurred after she attempted to end their relationship.

“James has threatened to kill me, James has threatened to harm me, James has threatened to injure me, James has threatened to place a bag over my head, and James has verbally and physically abused [me],” she wrote.

Pearce Jr.’s lawyer clapped back at the claims, saying the NFL player “maintains his innocence.” He added that while allegations can “shape a narrative,” they want the public to know that there is more to the story.
