NEED TO KNOW
- A woman has filed a complaint alleging that Puka Nacua said an antisemitic slur and bit her and her friend during a night out in December
- The Los Angeles Rams star is denying any wrongdoing
- Nacua, 24, was seen doing an antisemitic gesture during a livestream in December, which he later apologized for
A woman has accused Los Angeles Rams star Puka Nacua of biting her and using an antisemitic slur during a New Year’s Eve 2025 night out, according to multiple reports.
The woman’s allegations came in an application for a temporary restraining order against the athlete, which was not granted by a Los Angeles judge. TMZ was first to report the news.
Through his attorney, Nacua, 24, denied any wrongdoing.
“Puka denies these allegations in the strongest possible terms,” Dallas-based attorney Levi G. McCathern II said in a statement to USA Today. “We will be filing a defamation lawsuit and pursuing all available legal remedies in response to these false and damaging statements.”
According to the complaint obtained by TMZ, the woman was at dinner with Nacua on the evening of Dec. 31, 2025 when the NFL star allegedly said, “F--- the Jews.”
The alleged comment was the “first act in what became an escalating course of rude or vulgar, threatening, violent and harassing conduct,” the woman says in the complaint.
Later, while the woman, her friend, Nacua and others were in a sprinter van, the wide receiver "dropped his head into [her] girlfriend's lap and crotch area and bit her thumb so forcefully that she screamed in acute pain" ... before turning to her and biting her left shoulder and breaking skin, leaving a circular imprint of his teeth.”
The woman filed a police report a day later, according to TMZ. In her complaint, a picture from the alleged incident shows teeth marks on the back of the woman’s shoulder.
McCathern, who did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment, told USA Today that the woman asked for millions of dollars in exchange for not publicizing the allegations.

“Let’s be clear about what this case is — and what it is not,” McCathern told the outlet. “This matter is not sexual in nature, nor does it involve any allegation of domestic violence. If it did, the filings would look very different. They do not. It also doesn’t involve any elements of antisemitism.”
One month before the alleged incident, Nacua made headlines for making an antisemitic gesture during a livestream.
During Adin Ross' livestream on Tuesday, Dec. 16, the NFL star was playing ping-pong with Ross and streamer Mikyle Rafiq, also known as N3on, as they discussed what his next touchdown dance should be.
Ross told Nacua he should do his usual gesture of flexing, then rub his hands together — a stereotypical sign of greed. Nacua then did the gesture to the camera and promised Ross he would do it on the field since it was "easy."
In a statement shared via Instagram, Nacua later apologized.
"When I appeared the other day on a social media livestream, it was suggested to me to perform a specific movement as part of my next touchdown celebration," he began. "At the time, I had no idea this act was antisemitic in nature and perpetuated harmful stereotypes against Jewish people."
He continued, "I deeply apologize to anyone who was offended by my actions as I do not stand for any form of racism, bigotry or hate of another group of people."
