Elversberg have signed talent Maurice Krattenmacher from champions Bayern Munich, the promoted Bundesliga club said on Friday.
Winger Krattenmacher, 20, receives a four-year contract at Elversberg. He previously played on loan at Hertha Berlin the second division.
Krattenmacher spent a few years in Bayern's academy before joining nearby Unterhaching for seven years. He returned to Bayern in 2024 but was loaned to Ulm in 2024-25 and then Hertha last season.
Elversberg sporting director Christian Weber said that Krattenmacher "has impressively shown his abilities in the second division" and that "he fits our requirements on the wing very well."
Krattenmacher said: "It was always my aim to play in the Bundesliga and I worked hard for that. The fact that I am now able to take this step with an exciting and superbly run club like SV Elversberg fills me with pride."
