The Tennessee Titans' roster is ― obviously ― incomplete, especially with the 2026 NFL Draft still more than a month away.

But after a busy first week of the free agency period, which saw the team add at least eight players who'd be starters if the season began today, it's worth checking in on the state of the 53-man roster.

How has the depth chart filled out? Where are the needs still most obvious? What do the free agency additions tell us about how the Titans will handle their nine picks in the draft?

Here is The Tennessean's latest projection of the Titans' 53-man roster, complete with a position-by-position breakdown of how likely it is changes will be made.

Tennessee Titans roster, depth chart prediction: Who's on the 53-man roster after NFL free agency?

Quarterback (3): Cam Ward, Mitchell Trubisky, Will Levis

Chances of changes: 70%

It's tough to imagine Levis suiting up for the Titans in 2026, especially after the Trubisky signing. Surely there'll be a team willing to make a trade at draft time, or at latest around roster cut-down day.

Running back (3): Tony Pollard, Tyjae Spears, Kalel Mullings

Chances of changes: 50%

The scuttlebutt about the Titans being connected to first-round RB Jeremiyah Love isn't going away. But even if that's not the decision, there's room to add another playmaker in the draft or a power back via free agency.

Wide receiver (6): Calvin Ridley, Wan'Dale Robinson, Chimere Dike, Elic Ayomanor, Bryce Oliver, Mason Kinsey

Chances of changes: 80%

Though no one's ever made money betting against Kinsey making the Titans' roster, it feels like a second- or third-round receiver is on the way as the Titans try to build weaponry around Ward.

Tight end (4): Gunnar Helm, Daniel Bellinger, Kylen Granson, David Martin-Robinson

Chances of changes: 20%

Tight end isn't high on the Titans' priority list anymore. Never say never, but at least three of these four feel destined for the roster, if not all four.

Offensive tackle (4): Dan Moore Jr., JC Latham, Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson, Ryan Hayes

Chances of changes: 85%

Crenshaw-Dickson is still a developmental project. Hayes is a recent signee on a futures contract. Some sort of actual, experienced depth is a must.

Interior offensive line (6): Peter Skoronski, Cordell Volson, Austin Schlottmann, Jackson Slater, Drew Moss, Trey Hill

Chances of changes: 95%

Other than Skoronski, no one feels assured a starting job. Whether through the draft or free agency, the Titans need to find reliable options at center and right guard.

Interior defensive line (5): Jeffery Simmons, John Franklin-Myers, Jordan Elliott, Solomon Thomas, Malik Herring

Chances of changes: 5%

Not a lot of change necessary here. Simmons and Franklin-Myers will start. The other three vets are solid backups. Maybe Herring gets swapped out for a younger model, be it through the draft or someone already on the futures roster.

Edge defenders (5): Jermaine Johnson II, Oluwafemi Oladejo, Jacob Martin, Jaylen Harrell, Ali Gaye

Chances of changes: 95%

The need for a true No. 1 edge rusher is too extreme to not at least consider using the No. 4 pick there. Even if that's not the pick, it's hard to imagine the Titans ignoring the position altogether in the draft and not at least upgrading the depth.

Inside linebackers (5): Cedric Gray, Cody Barton, James Williams Sr., Dorian Mausi, Cam Riley

Chances of changes: 50%

Veteran depth for the sake of special teams almost always finds its way on to the roster via linebacker spots. Expect that sort of movement, if not full exploration into competition behind Gray.

Cornerback (4): Alontae Taylor, Cor'Dale Flott, Joshua Williams, Marcus Harris

Chances of changes: 95%

The odds are that high less because one of these players is going to be replaced and more because no team can survive a season with four cornerbacks. Reinforcements have to be on the way.

Safety (5): Amani Hooker, Kevin Winston Jr., Tony Adams, Jerrick Reed II, Kendell Brooks

Chances of changes: 25%

Not a huge need, but always a place where a defensive coach could cycle depth pretty easily.

Specialists (3): Morgan Cox, Joey Slye, Tommy Townsend

Chances of changes: 5%

Barring injury, surprise retirement or the shocking emergence of an undeniable undrafted free agent, don't expect too much movement here.
