It turns out that her run in AEW could’ve been missed due to interest from WWE. Dave Meltzer noted on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that Statlander was very close to signing with WWE.

Never say never in professional wrestling even with wrestlers who have said in the past that they would never wrestle again.

Dave Meltzer reported several months ago that there was talk of Edge wrestling again. Since that time, Edge was seen in Pittsburgh, PA where wrestlers go to get cleared and the word from people in WWE is that he signed a new contract. Another interesting note on Edge is that he is no longer doing his podcast with Christian and he had been telling people that he’s in great shape and feels better than ever. At SummerSlam, he speared Elias and was said to be feeling better than he has in years.

PWInsider reported today that Edge signed a really good money deal with WWE with a nice upside. Mike Johnson added that his “gut feeling” is that we’ll see Edge as a surprise in the Royal Rumble and we’ll probably see him do a few matches over the next few years.

WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin recently spoke with Sports Illustrated about a wide range of topics.

In the interview, he gave some big praise to WWE Raw Superstar Andrade. This is where he noted that he thinks Andrade is going to be a big player in the future.

“Right now, the people that are on top are the people that should be on top,” Austin said. “But I called this two years ago watching his match when he did the favors for somebody that night, and I said, ‘Man, this Andrade kid is going to be a player one of these days.’ I think he’s proving that.”

Now, a rumor has surfaced regarding a potential contract offer with big money from WWE.

WrestleVotes reported on Friday that WWE is high on Kross and the belief is that he will receive a big-money offer that Adam Page was given from WWE last year

“WWE’s interest level is significantly high in signing Killer Kross. Source said he should get a similar offer to that of which was extended to Hangman Page last year. No telling if Kross will sign, but WWE is definitely pursuing him, harder than they normally pursue other FAs.”
