Brayden Presley and Logan Smith each collected two hits and two RBIs to lead Jimtown past South Central, 9-4, in non-conference baseball action on Monday.
A six-run bottom of the sixth inning gave the Jimmies a 9-2 lead.
Behind three hits and three RBIs from Ean Bogan, NorthWood cruised past West Noble, 14-4.
Finley Miller added two hits and two RBIs for the Panthers, who scored five runs in the top of the third inning.
Winning pitcher Brady Blackford struck out 10.
A three-run double by Grady Harrell highlighted a five-run second inning for No. 6-ranked (4A) Penn in a 7-4 win over Lakeshore.
Winning pitcher John Gutierrez allowed no runs, one hit and struck out six over four and two-thirds innings of relief.
In softball, Victoria Vega finished with four hits and four RBIs in a 16-1 NorthWood win over West Noble.
Madelyn Lambert added three hits, including a homer, and drove in three runs for the Panthers.
Lydia Paul and Peyton Johnson tossed a combined no-hitter.
