Conner Eyink dazzled in a complete game shutout to lead Mechanicsburg baseball in a 6-0 Division VI regional semifinal win against Huntington on Wednesday, June 3.
Eyink scattered four hits and no walks, tallying 11 strikeouts over seven shutout innings. He also helped his cause with a 2-for-2 day at the plate with two intentional walks and a run scored.
Drew Lawhorn tacked on two RBI on two hits and Bodee DeLong went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and one RBI.
‘Burg improved to 22-3 overall and advances to face Berlin Hiland with a trip to the state tournament on the line on Thursday, June 4 at Lancaster.

Delphos St. John’s 3, Newton 0: Cameron Elwer went 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and two RBI while Andrew Elwer pitched seven shutout innings with seven strikeouts to send DSJ baseball to its second ever state tournament appearance.
