With the 2026 NFL Draft a thing of the past, ESPN released a new way-too-early power rankings poll.

The Buffalo Bills did more work than just about any team at the draft by making 10 picks. However, after trading three times and all the way out of the first round, Buffalo's draft haul has seen mixed reviews.

As is always the case, results on the field that come in due time is what matters. But for now, where does ESPN place the Bills post draft?

Currently Buffalo sits at No. 4 in ESPN's power rankings. That's up one spot from the outlet's last poll.

Overall, the Bills are considered the second-best team in the AFC behind only the Denver Broncos in third. The Los Angeles Rams and No. 1 team and defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks take the top two positions.

ESPN's breakdown on the Bills can be found below:

Way-too-early ranking: 5

Most improved position: Safety

The Bills got younger at the safety position after dealing with injuries last season. They signed C.J. Gardner-Johnson and Geno Stone before drafting Jalon Kilgore in the fifth round. The starters are likely to be third-year player Cole Bishop and Gardner-Johnson, but this room has some of the toughest competition for the final roster. Sam Franklin Jr.'s special teams abilities and Jordan Hancock's potential to play nickel and safety should land them spots. -- Alaina Getzenberg
