GIRARD, KS — The Girard Trojans played host to the Frontenac Raiders in Week 4 of high school football in Kansas.
After a 21-0 lead entering the third quarter, Payton Armstrong punched in a rushing touchdown to extend the visitors lead 28-0.
Down the stretch before the fourth quarter, Ben Cullen connected with Korvin Bowin to give Girard their first score of the game.
Luke Sneed would give the Raiders a huge first down gain a few possessions later before a game-ending power outage at Girard High School.
Frontenac would go on to win 35-7 despite an unusual power outage ending.
