Post Panthers It's Officially Impossible to Overreact Thread

I would take a flyer on Justin Fields especially if they keep Petzig. Fields has warts, but is tough as nails and a terrific runner.

This may be a way to go forward while we look for someone else

Monti’s lucky too.

We had the 3rd pick in 2023 and 4th in 2024 and instead of an absolute superstar possible Defensive Player Of The Year Will Anderson and bonafide Number 1WR (Nabers or even another good T), we have a solid at best LT who looked pretty bad the second half of his second season and an absolutely mid WR who plays like a dog.

Take out the 4 game win streak and Gannon is 7-21 as a head coach. The Chicago fans couldn’t wait to get rid of Eberflus and his 2 year record was almost identical to Gannon.

Easy & understandable to go at Kyler, Marv, & Petzing, but at the end of the day, you are the HEAD COACH. You’re responsible for the teams’ overall performance. Allowing 220 rushing yards as DC-first HC? All of them damn penalties? C’mon.

The Panthers OL is actually elite, its one of the reasons Bryce Youngs early season terrible performances were so shocking. I refuse to blame this banged up defense full of JAGs that has been over performing all season. What happened today on defense is what I expected to happen all season. The dam eventually broke.

I may be wrong but before the bye I think we won every coin toss but 1, which means when the defense starts the game we do much better. After the bye I think we lost every coin toss including the overtime coin toss today. Not that it matters now but seems a little ironic that when K1 leads us out it doesn't end well.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up with a “nagging injury he secretly carried all season” and sits out one of these next games.

That would be great if he had a nagging injury and sat out the rest of the season. I would like to see how much Tune has improved. I don't think he will be great but at least we can see what he has. Of course, you never know. He could turn out to be an All Pro.
