Is the possibility of playing with Anthony Davis or Kyrie Irving holding up LeBron James choosing a team?
According to Yahoo Sports' Kevin O'Connor, a reunion with either former James teammate might be what's keeping James from making a final decision on his next NBA destination.
"The popular theory around the league is that LeBron has been slow-playing his decision to see if any of his suitors could find a way to land Irving or Davis," O'Connor wrote in a new article. "If a team proved capable of acquiring one of his championship teammates, sources say, it might sway him in that direction."
O'Connor linked a possible reunion for James and Irving with the Cleveland Cavaliers (one that might spark a James Harden trade) and a possible James-Davis pairing with the Golden State Warriors (that could include a Jimmy Butler trade as part of getting that done).
It's just hard at this point to gauge exactly what's going on with James; it sounds like reuniting with Irving or Davis would be tough to pull off unless James went to where they're playing now.
We'll see if the King makes a decision by week's end... or if we're still waiting this time next week.
Sadly, no.

Do we really not have a timeframe?
Sadly, no.
