Murray doesn't "eat up all our cap space"

He with the new salary cap raise he is:

7.12% cap space next year
20.39% cap space in 2024
14% of the cap space in 2025

This is easily researchable online
It’s easier for people to blame misfortune on a single person than institutional rot.

That's 1/5 of our cap space in 2024, during a rebuild, that's a lot of freakin cap space

With the expected turnover in our roster we will have sufficient space in the salary cap to make some moves.

I can do math...10 out of 17 is still a pretty broad interpretation of "much". If he had played 14 or 15 out of 17, I think you'd have a better argument.
Well over half the season is much of the season imo but it's all good

This thread needs to die lol
Unfortunately I think you are right Shane. Hope I am wrong about him landing in Denver but I can see them throwing a ton of cash at him.

Thank God lol this was always the most likely outcome. We were used, we were never in the running let's just move on
I think it's very likely AZ was his preference, but Mike and Mickey couldn't come to an agreement. I don't think Payton spends an entire day and evening in AZ, to blow smoke.

If Az was Sean Payton's preference, Sean Payton would be in Az and not Denver, it really is that simple
