This is not a prediction of what teams will do, these are the picks that I would make for each team, based on need, BPA and style of play:

Round 1:

1 CLE: Myles Garrett DE Texas A&M---consensus pick.

2 SF: Malik Hooker, FS, Ohio St.---Eric Reid slides down to SS (contract year) in favor of adding elite FS (impossible for former S John Lynch to overlook)

3 CHI: Jamal Adams, S, LSU---John Fox needs a safety to make things miserable for Rodgers and Stafford.

4 JAX: Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU---bell cow RB to take pressure off Bortles

5 TEN: Solomon Thomas, DE, Stanford---building a Titanic defense.

6 NYJ: Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio St.---big-time talent for big-time need.

7 LAC: Jonathan Allen, DT, Alabama---building a thunder and lightning pass rush.

8 CAR: Dalvin Cook, RB, FSU---adds lightning to Stewarts’ thunder.

9 CIN: Reuben Foster, ILB, Alabama---Marvin’s kind of impact LB.

10 BUF: John Ross, WR, Washington---the new Marguise, only way better

11 NO: Christian McCaffrey, RB/WR/PR, Stanford---triple threat who helps win close games.

12 NE (from CLE for QB Jimmy Garoppolo): O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama---made to order.

13 AZ: Haason Reddick, ILB/OLB, Temple---The Temple of Boom lands in AZ.

14 PHI: Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan---another explosive target for Wentz

15 IND: Ryan Ramczyk, T, Wisconsin---best T in draft to help keep Luck clean.

16 BAL: Charles Harris, Edge, Missouri---a faster, equally tenacious version of Markus Golden.

17 WAS: Mitchell Trubisky, QB, North Carolina---last year for Cousins in DC.

18 TEN: Jabrill Peppers, S/PR, Michigan---challenges Searcy for SS job, becomes STs ace

19 TB: Alvin Kamara, RB, Tennessee---perfect fit for their offense.

20 DEN: Garrett Bolles, T, Utah---perfect fit.

21 DET: Takkarist McKinley, Edge, UCLA---need to get to Aaron Rodgers.

22 MIA: David Njoku, TE, Miami---taking a page out of the Patriots’ playbook.

23 NYG: Zach Cunningham, LB, Vanderbilt---want to play faster on defense.

24 OAK: Tre’Davious White, CB, Tennessee---speed baby speed.

25 HOU: DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame---time to add QBOF, good system fit.

26 SEA: Forrest Lamp, G/T, Western Kentucky---big-time need, Lamp could be best OL in draft.

27 KC: Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama---what a secondary in KC

28 DAL: Gareon Conley, CB, Ohio St.---could start right away, great system fit.

29 GB: Tim Williams, Edge, Alabama---better pass rush helps secondary.

30 PIT: Carl Lawson, Edge, Auburn---in the Harrison/Woodley mold.

31 ATL: Taco Charlton, DE, Michigan---edge rushing depth needed, Taco rings the Bell

32 NO: Tyus Bowser, OLB/DE, Houston---edge speed and bend

Get Tabor in round 3 and that would be a pretty darn good draft.

So many talented players in round 2!

Even better situation...trade down in round 1.

1 - Zach Cunnigham
2a - Pat Mahomes
2b - Kevin King

I would wish you were right about Mahomes being available. Highly doubtful. If not they take the CB there.

Reddick is a solid pick. He could handle at least 3 different LB spots. I also like Cory Davis. It will be a tough choice there, but WR is deep in this draft.

Watson is not going at 39 and Washington is not taking a QB in the first round.

I like Reddick. He would be a good pick at #13 also could learn the position from Dansby. Mahomes on round #2 would be fantastic. Just don't think he will be there. Maybe they would go after QB Davis Webb, Cal. Cards had a private workout with him. He would be my sleeper pick in round 2.

4 JAX: Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU---bell cow RB to take pressure off Bortles

That would be a horrible pick for them. Need instead of BPA.

7 LAC: Jonathan Allen, DT, Alabama---building a thunder and lightning pass rush.

Damaged goods.

11 NO: Christian McCaffrey, RB/WR/PR, Stanford---triple threat who helps win close games.

Great pick for most teams.

12 NE (from CLE for QB Jimmy Garoppolo): O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama---made to order.

Oooh yeah, but must also include more picks from Browns.

13 AZ: Haason Reddick, ILB/OLB, Temple---The Temple of Boom lands in AZ.

Meh.

22 MIA: David Njoku, TE, Miami---taking a page out of the Patriots’ playbook.

Probably but they just signed Julian Thomas and Anthony Fasano, a couple of retreads ready to bust.

Round 2

45 AZ: Patrick Mahomes II, QB, Texas Tech

Very wishful thinking that he will be there.

Where is Derek Barnett?

I had him going in the top 15 and erased his name for another player and then forgot that he was now still in play. Thank you. This is one of the challenges of doing a 64 pick mock is when you start switching guys around.

Mitch...I think you are on to something with Reddick. Although, he may not get past Cincy or NO. He has the best upside of any LB/DE and may end up being the best defensive player in the draft. Nice mock.

Reddick's versatility as a rusher, chaser, plugger and man to man shadow is perfect for our mix and match coverage and blitz defense, imho.
