Michael Pittman’s move to Pittsburgh is literally a dream come true?

That’s what the Oaks Christian School graduate revealed on March 10 after the Indianapolis Colts traded the receiver to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

“Crazy!,” Pittman posted on social media. “My wife Kianna Pittman had a dream a month ago I was wearing a Steelers jersey. God works in crazy ways!”

After the deal, Pittman agreed to a three-year, $59 million contract extension with his new team.

Pittman was dealt along with a seventh-round pick for a sixth-round pick. Indianapolis used the trade to open up $24 million in cap room for Alec Pierce, who signed the richest free agent contract for a receiver in NFL history to stay with the Colts on Monday.

The details of the trade and contract were confirmed by USA Today and the Indianapolis Star because they cannot be made official until the start of the new league year on March 11.

Pittman has been the Colts’ top receiver since being drafted in the second round out of USC in 2020.

He has 485 receptions for 5,254 yards and 25 touchdowns in his six-year career, including 80 catches for 784 yards and a career-high seven scores last season.

He joins a receivers’ group that includes DK Metcalf and may be catching passes from Aaron Rodgers, should he return to Pittsburgh for a second season.

Pittman was The Star’s All-County co-Player of the Year in 2015, when he caught 81 passes for 1,990 yards and 24 TDs as an Oaks Christian senior. He then played four year at USC.
