Cade Cunningham is likely to return for the Detroit Pistons in Miami.
Cunningham (left quad contusion) is listed as probable ahead of their Sunday, March 8, road game against the Miami Heat (6 p.m., FanDuel Sports Network Detroit) after missing one game.
But the Pistons (45-17) will still be without Ausar Thompson (right ankle sprain) for the second consecutive game.
TRENDING: Pistons experiencing their worst spell of turbulence this season
Thompson missed Saturday's home collapse against the Brooklyn Nets, after previously exiting their loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday early in the first quarter. The team hasn't set a timeline for his return, but coach J.B. Bickerstaff implied it will be a multi-game absence. The Pistons' next game is Tuesday at Brooklyn.
Caris LeVert (left wrist sprain) also will miss Sunday's game in Miami.
The Pistons lost three consecutive games for the first time this season when they fell to the Nets, blowing a 23-point third-quarter lead.
They lost at the Spurs, 121-106, and lost at the Cleveland Cavaliers, 113-109, on Tuesday.
The Heat injury report ruled out Norman Powell, Andrew Wiggins, ex-Piston Simone Fontecchio and Nikola Jovic. Miami (35-29) is seventh in the Eastern Conference, winners of four straight.
