The Philadelphia Phillies finally got what they've been waiting years to see: an Andrew Painter start in the Major Leagues. And it went incredibly well, as the Phillies righty looked fantastic in 5.1 innings pitched.

Painter allowed four hits, one walk, one run, and struck out eight in a great way to begin his MLB career. It was a strong outing against the Washington Nationals, and one the Phillies desperately needed after losing the previous three games.

After the game was won, giving Painter his first win as well, the Phillies celebrated the rookie in the clubhouse. And as Matt Gelb of The Athletic shared, the Phillies players dumped a nasty concoction on Painter in celebration.

"An incomplete list of the substances that were dumped on Painter: beer, ketchup, shaving cream, hot sauce, mustard, mayonnaise, and chocolate milk," Gelb reports.

That's not even the complete list of what was mixed to dump on Painter in celebration of his incredible debut, and it's already incredibly gross.

Pouring beer on a player in celebration isn't that surprising, as teams do that all of the time after a postseason series win or a big moment.

But, to combine this concoction with a lot more than just beer, including some substances like mayo, ketchup, mustard, and shaving cream, makes for a foul concoction.

The Phillies player who mixed this combination of ingredients was 26th man Dylan Moore, a Gold Glove veteran who's been in the Majors for a while now.

Gelb shared that Moore said, "I can't tell you all of the ingredients." The ingredient list is already gross, and the rest of the mixture surely isn't making things any better.

But, for Painter, who made his long-awaited debut and looked the part of a big-league pitcher, this was a great way to begin his career.

He got the win, struck out eight batters, and had some nasty pitches that were only matched by the post-game concoction made by Moore in celebration of Painter's successful debut.
